FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 28-year-old Fort Wayne man died Sunday night after being shot in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse.
The Allen County Coroner’s office said Jeffrey Martin Lute died from gunshot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.
Police were called to the Texas Roadhouse on West Washington Center Road at about 9:38 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found Lute dead in the parking lot. Another man was hospitalized in critical condition. He was suffering from gunshot wounds.
Andrew Mac Cassaday, 29, was arrested in connection to the shooting. He is charged with possession of a firearm without a license and murder.
Lute is the 23rd homicide victim in Allen County in 2016.
