Obama Blames Storm for Potential Election Loss

The newest angle for the Obama campaign is to raise the possibility that this storm could cost President Obama the election.

1) Obama always has to blame somebody for things. Now it is fate or God. He's lucky he's not Mourdock: the press would destroy him for that.
2) Obama's campaign is worried that it could hurt early voting. If I was them I'd be worried about that as well. Every day new stuff comes out about their Libya cover-up. Obama's team wants voting now, so people don't hear what is still coming. (This may become bigger than Watergate. At least it should.)
3) With polls trending toward Romney, especially in swing areas, no wonder the Obama campaign is panicking.
4) I don't agree with those who claim that this storm proves God is on Obama's side. Just because it takes the public's attention from his incredible screw-ups on Libya and the cover-up of the truth that has followed, doesn't mean God was trying to obscure the Libya discussion. See point two. It will come roaring back again.

This election is far from over - not literally, one week away - but in politics, one week can be an awful long time.
Still, strong trends for Romney. When Obama blew the first debate, it changed this race. Should Romney win, all future historians will peg it to that night.
