Pollard Super Bowl Bound; Spencer to Pro Bowl
South Side grad Bernard Pollard had 9 tackles, 4 of those solo and a pass defended for the Super Bowl-bound Baltimore Ravens as they beat New England 28-13 in the AFC Championship game in Foxboro. In other local NFL news, Luers grad Anthony Spencer, a Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker, will appear in his first Pro Bowl after he led the Cowboys in tackles with 95 and sacks with 11 this season.
