Teen Arrested For Mutilating Goats
Police in Roanoke have arrested a teenager who they say stabbed and mutilated three goats. 19 year-old Tanner Macy of Roanoke is back on the streets, free on bond on felony charges of torturing or mutilating a vertebrate animal and obstruction of justice. A police report says the goats' injuries appeared to have come from "a very large knife" or similar object. County sheriff's deputies tracked footprints from the pen where the goats were killed to Macy's home less than a half-mile away. They say they found blood-stained shoes and jeans inside his home.
