City and County Zoning Laws to Become More Uniform
Officials say they are nearly complete in simplifying city and county zoning laws. It wraps up nearly four years of getting ordinances on the same page. The consistency, should, planners say, spark new business development.The zoning laws should be ready for the public by May or June. Then, they'll still need to go through hearings for both the city and county plan commissions. Ultimately it must pass muster by City Council and County Commissioners.
