DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  Indiana State Police officers are investigating a three vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man from Kendallville.

The crash happened Tuesday morning on County Road 427 at County Road 50, just south of Auburn.

According to State Police, a dump truck with a snow plow attached, driven by 57-year-old Steven Westrick of Auburn was traveling eastbound on County Road 50 when it supposedly slid on the snowy roadway, into the intersection. Lindley was pronounced dead at the scene. Both Westrick and Crowell were not injured in the crash.

County Road 427 was closed at County Road 50 for about five hours as Troopers conducted their investigation. At 3:30 p.m., County Road 427 was re-opened.
