An Amtrak spokesman says a train carrying 89 passengers from Indianapolis to Chicago collided with an agricultural truck in northern Indiana. Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari says the train involved in this morning's crash is the Hoosier State, which makes four trips a week between the cities. He says no passengers were injured. The train's engineer was being evaluated, but according to Magliari, he doesn't appear to be seriously injured. White County Emergency Management Director Dean Mullens says the truck driver also suffered minor injuries in the collision near the town of Monon, about 30 miles north of Lafayette.
