KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Kosciusko County police along with the FBI and other law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect.

The suspect, who allegedly robbed three banks in two different states, is described as white man, around 6’00” to 6’02”, wearing a ball cap, with grey or white hair/sideburns. He also has either a beard or goatee that appears to come to a two-prong or fork-style point at the chin area.

According to surveillance video the suspect has a gated walk or limp and continually wears tennis shoes.

The suspect reportedly parked a silver or grey, early to mid-1990’s station wagon, possibly a Chevy Cavalier or Escort, in the area of the first bank robbery at the Leesburg branch of the Farmers State Bank on July 12th.

Since that incident, police believe that the same individual, as well as his vehicle, were involved with robberies from the Community Wide Bank of Granger and also, the Honor Credit Union in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

If you have any information about the suspect or the incident, call the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department at 574-267-5667 or the anonymous TIP line at 574-372-2494.  Citizens may also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-342-STOP and you will be given a code number.
