WOLCOTTVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Police arrest a Wolcottville man on multiple charges stemming from a follow-up investigation to find a wanted person.  State Troopers went to an apartment on North Main Street in Wolcottville around midnight Wednesday night. They found 33-year-old Basil L. Wicker hiding in a bedroom. One of the troopers ordered the man to come out, but Wicker reached in his pocket and pulled out a knife. The trooper commanded him to drop it, and he did. Wicker also resisted being placed in handcuffs and being put in a police car. It turned out that Wicker was not the original wanted person but has an arrest warrant out of Noble County. Wicker is charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, and refusal to identify. He will also be held on the Noble County warrant.  The troopers received information from their investigation that they provided to Kendallville police, which led to another wanted person and a residence with a meth lab.
