There’s plenty to be angry about in the AIG bailout. Our government has spent hundreds of billions of dollars and doesn’t seem to know where it went, for one thing.
But as legal analyst Andrew Grossman explains in the attached paper from The Heritage Foundation, lawmakers are going too far when they attempt to use their power to tax to punish AIG employees who received big bonuses.
