ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Families who would like to participate in the On My Wy Pre-K program must submit their applications by April 30th.

The free pre-kindergarten education program is for Allen County families with an income below 127 percent of the federal poverty level or $24,250 for a family of four. The Journal Gazette reports the family must have a child who is starting kindergarten in fall of 2016. The child must be 4 years old, but not yet 5 years old by August 1st.

If approved, parents have the option to choose from full or part-day pre-k programs.
