A Local Festival Has Been Sunk

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): IPFW Chancellor Vicky Carwein says the university will no longer host its RiverFest celebration. The event, usually held in June, is being canceled due to IPFW's enrollment decline and a subsequent loss in revenue. But despite the elimination of RiverFest, Carwein says there are still plenty of other events to look forward to in celebration of the university's 50th anniversary next year.
