Home Invasion Victim: “I thought I was going to die because they had that gun pointed right at me”

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Fort Wayne Police responded to a home on Lunada Dr. after reports of a home invasion with shots fired. When they arrived to the scene, a woman who lived in the home told officers she thought she “was going to die” because the burglars held her at gunpoint while they searched the house. Police located the suspects, 19-year-old Marcus Huges Jr. and 21-year-old Larry Washington Jr., both of Fort Wayne, hiding in trash cans outside a nearby home a short time later. Both men were arrested on a number of charges, including possession of marijuana. No injuries were reported.
