FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man will spend the next 11 years in prison for shooting another man in the face with a shotgun.

29-year-old Chad Bohde II was sentenced to 13 years in prison for aggravated battery for the June 25th shooting at the Hitch-N-Post bar at High Street and St. Mary’s Avenue, according to the News Sentinel. He’ll serve 11 years in prison with the final two years suspended, to be served on probation.

He pleaded guilty earlier this month, and confessed that he shot the man after a fight that started when Bohde confronted the man for doing a “burnout” by spinning his tires in an alley, which Bohde said endangered his kids.

The man survived but will need plastic surgery.
