FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Allen Councilman Roy Buskirk announced this afternoon he's seeking the Republican nomination for County Commissioner.

He's running for the third district seat, held by Republican incumbent Linda Bloom. It's a seat he sought in 2006 and 2010.

Buskirk said it's said time for a change in leadership and his priority is jobs, including retaining positions in the county.

The primary election will be Tuesday May 6.
