Goshen Man Seriously Hurt in Snowmobile Accident

GOSHEN, Ind. (WOWO): A Goshen man was seriously hurt in a snowmobile accident over the weekend. Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the accident that happened Sunday afternoon on Norfolk Southern railroad property in Goshen. Travis Eppert was operating a snowmobile with a passenger, Stacey Callahan, when Travis drove the snowmobile into a snowbank, causing the vehicle to go airborne. Epperts drove the snowmobile home.  Later, he started feeling pain, and was flown from his home to a South Bend hospital for rib fractures and internal injuries. Conservation Officers continue to investigate.
