IU to study how AI affects false information online

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (NETWORK INDIANA) – Indiana University is using a $7.5 million grant to study how artificial intelligence impacts false information online.

Professor YY Ahn and a team of other educators will look into the problem.

Ahn says they are looking for ways to increase “digital literacy for people so they can be more robust or resilient against these campaigns.”

The study will take five years.
