FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): High School students around the region are getting a head start on financial literacy with Junior Achievement.

The gift of iPADs from the Foellinger Foundation is enhancing that training. Friday officials held an open house at Lincoln Finance Park on North Clinton. The park uses store fronts to simulate the experience of purchasing goods and services. It's a hands-on experiment in decision making.

Officials say students often leave surprised by the budgeting process

About thousand students will benefit from Lincoln Finance Park this year.
