Man Wounded in Friday Night Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A Fort Wayne was shot Friday and police are trying to figure out why it happened and who did it.

Just after 8:15 Friday evening, they found a man near Bowser and Baxter  with a what they say is an apparent gun shot wound.

At the time, he was in serious condition but later downgraded to critical.


Investigators say it appears there shots were fired between at least two suspects. Police say its not clear if additional gunmen were involved and what sparked the exchange. 

They say a silver or gray colored, two-day Monte Carlo with tinted windows and shinny rems was spotted leaving the scene
