The companies have a strong record of building tunnels on every continent and more than 50 countries around the world.

When construction is completed, a pump station associated with the tunnel operation will be located at the site of Thursday’s meeting, the Northeast corner of Glasgow Avenue and Dwenger Avenue.

The building is set to be completed this Fall, and the working shaft next Spring.

The Summer of 2018 will mark the start of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), which will be put in the ground and begin its journey.

The project will also include nine drop shafts in various neighborhoods.
