FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A woman found dead Friday in Fort Wayne was the victim of homicide. That's the ruling of the coroner's office.

Authorities say 59-year-old Debra Jones of Fort Wayne died from “a sharp force injury to her neck”.

Around 1 p.m. Friday, a family member found Jones' body in her Myanna Lane home. That's in a housing addition just off St. Joe Center Road on the city's Northeast side.
