FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It's not a snake in the grass.

It's a big cat. At least that's residents in Aboite Township have been saying for years.

More reports are coming to light after the News-Sentinel has posted a photo of what appears to be a golden colored cat, perhaps a Cougar prowling though a back yard.

The paper received similar reports a few years ago from a city police officer.

The latest photos have been sent to the Indiana DNR. No word yet what state officials have found.
