State Offers Tips to Save on Electric Bills

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor is recommending ways residents can save money on electric bills this summer. The agency recommends setting the thermostat at the highest comfortable temperature and raising it a few degrees when leaving home for more than five hours. Officials also say homeowners should have their air conditioning systems serviced by professionals.
