INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): To make sure all travelers are safe this Thanksgiving Holiday, Indiana State Police increased patrols with the help of 250 other law enforcement agencies for the annual Safe Family Travel, Operation Pull Over campaign. The patrols began on November 8 and will end on December 1. State Police will also participate in Operation C.A.R.E. starting Wednesday and going through December 1. It’s a federally funded program and will let more troopers patrol Hoosier roadways during the busy holiday weekend.
