CHESTERFIELD, Ind. (AP) _ A central Indiana camp that opened in the late 1800s and became famed for its spiritual mediums is getting a plaque honoring its addition to the National Register of Historic Places.
 
The Friends of Camp Chesterfield Foundation will hold a plaque dedication ceremony Saturday at the 34-acre camp that's just north of Anderson.
 
The camp was added to the National Register in 2002, and Friends of Camp Chesterfield Foundation board member Todd Jay Leonard says raising money for the bronze plaque was one of the foundation's first goals after it formed in 2012.
 
Camp Chesterfield opened in 1891 along the White River and includes summer cabins, a grotto, labyrinth and a hillside trail of limestone busts representing major world religions.
 
It also boasts a hotel, bookstore, cafeteria and other buildings.
