Memorial for April Tinsley Planned

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Decades after a girl was abducted, residents of a Fort Wayne neighborhood plan to honor her memory.

It's been 27 years since eight-year-old April Tinsley was abducted from the Hoagland-Masterson neighborhood. Her body was later discovered in DeKalb County.

According to the News-Sentinel, The neighborhood association is finalizing plans to construct a memorial complete with a tree, plaque and bench.

The 1988 case remains unsolved.
