Kayla Blakeslee, host of Fort Wayne’s Morning News on WOWO, is launching the new year — and the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration — with a special reporting trip to the nation’s capital.

Beginning Jan. 14, listeners will be able to follow Blakeslee’s journey through Washington, D.C., both on-air and online, offering front-row access to Capitol Hill during a milestone year in American history.

Blakeslee will host Fort Wayne’s Morning News live from the Capitol on Thursday, Jan. 15, broadcasting from the office of Senator Jim Banks. The broadcasts will feature exclusive interviews with lawmakers, policy leaders, and political influencers shaping national conversations.

In addition to the live shows, Blakeslee will tour Washington, D.C., providing behind-the-scenes video and firsthand coverage from key locations throughout the nation’s capital, including key locations, such as The White House.

The special Washington, D.C. broadcast is presented by Prairie Farms and WOWO 92.3 FM and 1190 AM.
