UPDATE: Fort Wayne Man Pleads Guilty in Woman’s 2011 Death

ALBION, Ind. (AP)- A Fort Wayne man has pleaded guilty to charges in the death of a woman whose body was found in a northeastern Indiana lake more than three years ago.

Thirty-six-year-old Andres Gonzalez Jr. reached an agreement with prosecutors under which he admitted to voluntary manslaughter in exchange for murder charges being dropped.

Gonzalez was arrested in March for the death of 36-year-old Erin Justin of Fort Wayne. A fisherman found her body weighted with a cinder block in Bartley Lake near Albion in July 2011.

The News Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1pjVG9a ) Gonzalez admitted in court Thursday to killing Justin during a physical attack and moving her body to Noble County. His sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 2.

His brother was sentenced to three years for illegally moving a body.
