Auditors to Have Answers on State Tax Errors Soon

Auditors reviewing $526 million in tax errors by the Indiana Department of Revenue say they might have answers for lawmakers by December. Auditors for the accounting firm Deloitte briefed members of the State Budget Committee met yesterday to talk about a risk assessment they’ve completed. They said they expect to begin their audit this week.
