SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) _ A northern Indiana man has been charged with murder after he allegedly put a gun to a man's head and pulled the trigger, killing him during an apparent game of Russian roulette.
Prosecutors charged 22-year-old Jacob Saye with murder Monday in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Christopher White. The Mishawaka man was found dead early Sunday from a single gunshot wound to the head in a South Bend home's basement.
Charging documents state that Saye told investigators he suggested to White that whoever won a drinking game they were playing should be able to use a semi-automatic handgun in a game of Russian roulette against the loser.
WNDU-TV reports Saye said he placed a handgun against White's temple and pulled the trigger at the end of the game.
