State Releases April Budget Reports

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): State Officials unveiled revenue reports for April. The review shows general fund revenue totaled $1,787.8 million – $13 million above projections or .8 percent.

Individual income tax connection was 2.8 percent below budget forecasts, a total of $23.6 million less than expected. Original estimates were $825.2 million.

Corporate income tax collected was 12.5 percent more than planned for. The state budget office reports $223.1 million generated, an additional $24.8 million.

That brings the ten month revenue collected for fiscal 2014, .5 percent below projections. That’s a total of $61.2 less than estimated.
