The Headwaters Park Ice Skating Rink will reach a milestone tomorrow afternoon. They will recognize the 200,000th ice skater sometime between 2:00 and 3:00 PM tomorrow. The lucky recipient will receive a gift basket from area shops and a season pass to ice skate for free the rest of the season. Since the rink opened in November of 2003, Headwaters Park has had between 20,000 and 25,000 skaters every year.
