Indiana DNR Finds Mortar Round in White River

SPENCER, Ind. (AP) _ An Indiana Department of Natural Resources dive team has detonated a mortar round it found in the White River in central Indiana.

WTHR reports (http://bit.ly/20IbffU) divers found the mortar Friday at the bottom of the river while looking for evidence near Spencer, about 45 miles southwest of Indianapolis.

The crew then blew up the round on the river bank and posted video of the detonation on Facebook.
