City Council Considers Tax Relief for Three Expansion Projects

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Proposed expansions could mean hundreds of new jobs for Fort Wayne.

On the agenda tonight, City Council will consider tax relief for three companies offering more  500 new jobs. The largest, a plan that would mean about 415 new jobs for Excellon Technologies. The Sherman Boulevard plant is set to undergo a $2 million dollar expansion.

Master Spas is planning a $1.54 million dollar project at its plant on Lincoln Parkway. The company's plan promises to add 60 new jobs.

Summit Dental Group is working on a $1.4 million dollar project on Illinois Road. That project would add 10 new high paying jobs.
