INDIANA, (WOWO): Its probably safe to say that most Hoosiers are sick and tired of the cold blistering winds and the falling snow. The good news is a warm-up is coming.
Associate State Climatologist Ken Sheeringa says that the warm-up will likely start sometime after next week. That doesn't mean temperatures will push into the 50's like they have earlier this winter, but they will even out and stay average to above average for some time.
He says that the late winter will be much different than last winter with a much drier forecast. However, temperatures into February and March could be a little below average going into spring.
