Kokomo to Waive Permit Fees Related to Storm Recovery

KOKOMO, Ind. (WOWO):  In an effort to help with recovery efforts, officials with the City of Kokomo will waive certain permit fees through December 20th related to cleanup and reconstruction from storm damage suffered on November 17th

The fees include:

Dumpster Permits

Demolition Permits

Building Permits

Electrical Permits (for commercial and residential structures)

In order to get a permit, residents are still required to submit the appropriate paperwork to the Permit Office related to their specific recovery needs. 

“The residents of Kokomo and city employees have shown remarkable resilience in our community, and I want to thank everyone for their efforts,” said Mayor Greg Goodnight.  “We will continue working tirelessly to recover from this storm and rebuild our community.”
