FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Powerful storms swept through northeast Indiana overnight Monday through Tuesday morning, taking down trees and power lines, and leaving debris strewn across roads. Thousands remain without power Tuesday morning. The latest figures as of 5:30 A.M. show for I&M customers: over 5000 in Allen County and over 600 in Noble County are without power. For Northeastern REMC customers: 1 in Allen County and 1 in Whitley County, are without power. For Nipsco customers: over 250 in Angola, over 750 in LaGrange, and over 1500 in Warsaw are without power. As of noon Tuesday, just under 500 outages were reported for Kosciusko REMC customers. Crews continue to work to restore power to all customers.
