WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A 4-year-old girl is in the hospital after being hit by car in Warsaw. It happened on Winona Avenue around 2:15 p.m., Friday afternoon. After speaking with Warsaw police, WOWO News learned that the girl allegedly ran into the street and that's when she was struck by the car.

She was taken to Lutheran Hospital here in Fort Wayne to be treated for her injuries. We have not yet been told the condition of the girl, but we will continue to follow this story
