NATIONWIDE, (WOWO) — The Indiana-based Lilly Endowment hopes to announce its initial round of grants by the end of this year, according to CEO Will Shafroth.

The National Park Foundation announced the award Monday but has yet to determine how the grant will utilized across its hundreds of sites.

Shafroth said in a statement “This grant will allow us to supercharge our efforts to ensure our national parks are for everyone, for generations to come.”
