Stutzman Calls for More Monitoring of VA Hospital

There’s still a lot of work to be done at Fort Wayne’s VA hospital. That's according to Congressman Marlin Stutzman. Stutzman told our partners in news at 21Alive, improvements aren't coming fast enough for veterans who sacrificed for the country.

Stutzman said his office has intervened to make sure patients were getting treatment, including for a critically ill man, just recently. 

He says the VA has been given the responsibility of caring for Vet and its unacceptable they have to through extra steps to get help. He wants the Inspector General to continue to monitor the medical center
