SOUTH WHITLEY, Ind. – A two-year old boy pulled from a pond Saturday afternoon in Whitley County has died. The two-year old was pulled from the water, on property on West 300 South. That's about 3 miles north of South Whitley. 

According to the Journal-Gazette, family members say the boy had only been missing for a few minutes when he was found in the water.

The boy was pronounced dead after being transported to local hospital.
