FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today an autopsy was performed on the body of a man found dead inside a home on Placer Run. He is identified as 29-year-old Demetrius Masterson of Fort Wayne.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics just after 7:30 p.m. Sunday night. Police say the man's girlfriend found him.
According to the Allen County Coroner, Masterson’s cause of death was ruled as gunshot wounds.
Masterson is the 42nd homicide victim for Fort Wayne and Allen County this year. The investigation is ongoing.
