Tip Leads to Arrest of Wanted LaGrange County Woman

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A tip leads to the arrest of a wanted LaGrange County woman. Yesterday, LaGrange County Deputies received a tip that Melissa Norris, wanted on Felony Charges out of the county, was staying on 750 N. When officers got to the scene, they talked to Gregory Williams, who told them Norris was not there. The man gave officers consent to search the residence, and police found Norris in a back bedroom. Officers also saw a one-pot meth lab and paraphernalia. Indiana State Police were then contacted. The man and woman were both taken into custody and transported to the LaGrange County Jail.

Gregory Williams was booked on charges of: – Manufacturing Methamphetamine
– Possession of Methamphetamine
– Possession of Paraphernalia
– Maintaining a Common Nuisance

Melissa Norris was booked on charges of:
– Manufacturing Methamphetamine
– Possession of Methamphetamine
– Possession of Paraphernalia
– Visiting a Common Nuisance

In addition to Melissa Norris’ new charges, she was booked on an outstanding warrant for:
– Failure to appear, possession of Methamphetamine, D Felony
– Possession of Chemical Reagents, D Felony
– Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony
– Possession of Paraphernalia, A Misdemeanor
