Consumers Spending Less on Mom This Year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Sunday is Mother's Day and as many rush to buy mom a gift, an annual Mother's Day survey by The National Retail Federation is saying Americans won't be spending as much as they did last year. It's estimated that consumers on average will shell out about $162 for a Mother's Day gift, compared to almost $169 in 2013 which was a record high.
