State Police Asking for Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana State police officers in Fort Wayne are asking for your help in identifying a person who is suspected in several thefts in and around Allen County.  

According to police, since early March 2014, a white man went into seven businesses, four in Columbia City, two in New Haven and one in Monroe posing as a vending machine repairman.  After getting into the stores, the suspect would proceed to steal money from the vending machines. It’s been estimated that the total losses, which also includes damage to the machines, is around $3,000-$5,000.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 40’s, between 5’8” to 5’10” in height, He’s around 220 to 240 pounds.
