Six People Escape Uninjured from House Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Six people escaped without injury from an early-morning house fire. The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to Rivermet Avenue northeast of the city's downtown around 1:45 A.M. There, crews found a fire in an interior wall cavity on the 2nd floor extending into the attic. No injuries were reported, but the fire's cause is still being looked into.
