Some Indiana Voters Using Illegal Addresses to Register

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Secretary of State Connie Lawson continues the push clean up Indiana's voting records.

We recently told you of about 700,000 inaccurate or inactive records. Now, her office says there is a growing number of voters who use so-called mailbox stores as their voting residence. That's an issue because Indiana law requires the voting address to be the actual residential address.

Lawson says voters who use mailbox stores should double check to make sure they have actually registered using their physical address. Her office is calling for county election boards to investigate locally.
