FWCS Meets Goal of Faster Internet in American Schools

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Federal Communications Commission is looking for faster internet in American schools and they're looking to spend over a billion dollars to update the nation's Internet access.


Headlining the Journal Gazette this morning, the FCC says they want to spend 1.5 billion dollars to provide the nearly two-thirds of America's schools with high-speed access.


Fort Wayne Community schools has the largest school system in northeast Indiana, with a connectivity rate above the goal of one gigabit per second.
