FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fire caused moderate damage to a home this afternoon on Fort Wayne's south side.

Around 12:45 pm, units were sent to a house on Palisade Drive, just off Hessen Cassel.

Once on the scene, they spotted fire coming from a second-story window. it took about eight minutes to bring it under control.

No one was home at the time, but a dog was removed another part of the home.
