2 Charged in Human Trafficking Case Involving Special Needs Child

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indianapolis police busted two people involved in a human trafficking and prostitution ring that took advantage of teenagers and a 12-year-old special needs child.

According to the Indianapolis Star, police arrested 24-year-old Jerry Mitchell and 26-year-old Joniece Peet, on Thursday.

Mitchell was preliminarily charged with three felony counts of child molestation and three felony counts of promoting prostitution and Peet was preliminarily charged with prostitution, a misdemeanor, according to jail records.
